PALs Team
The Parents As Leaders (PALs) Team meets every 6 weeks and is comprised of parents whose children attend FCDC. The PALs Team addresses topics of interest to FCDC families and provides a parent perspective to the organization’s decision-making and policies.

Family Picnic
The FCDC Family Picnic is held every summer at a local park. Families spend time building connections with one another while enjoying a meal with our staff. Everyone has a great time!

Mother’s and Father’s Day Celebrations
In May and in June, we host special events to celebrate Mother’s Day and honor Father’s Day. In May, mothers are invited to join their children for an afternoon tea party. In June, fathers are invited to a root beer float “happy hour” with their children.

Spring Silent Auction
In March, the PALs Team coordinates a silent auction to benefit a specific area of FCDC (updated playground equipment, classroom furniture, etc.). The silent auction has many one-of-a-kind items and services that are popular with families and kids.
